MEET THOMAS JEFFERSON
AT FREEDOM ENCOUNTER THEATER IN BRANSON!
History Channel and PBS Featured Reenactor Steve Edenbo Brings the Founding Father to Life
BRANSON, Mo. — Freedom Encounter is proud to present "Meet Thomas Jefferson" on Friday, June 20, featuring nationally acclaimed reenactor Steve Edenbo as the author of the Declaration of Independence — and the timing couldn't be more fitting. This special event celebrates the 250th birthday of the Declaration of Independence, bringing one of America's most celebrated Founding Fathers to the stage right here in Branson.
Steve Edenbo is no stranger to the national stage. He is featured as Thomas Jefferson in the History Channel's documentary series "Thomas Jefferson", a six-part production in which he portrays Jefferson from 1776 through his death in 1826. He has also appeared as Jefferson in episodes of the Emmy Award-winning PBS series "A Taste of History". Beyond television, Steve has performed as Jefferson at some of the most prestigious venues in the country, including the FBI, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, Independence National Historical Park, and the National Archives in Washington, D.C. We are thrilled to welcome Steve to Branson!
Doors open at 9:00 a.m., with activities beginning upon arrival. Mr. Jefferson's formal presentation takes the stage at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Q&A session where guests can pose their own questions directly to the third President of the United States. Afterward, the celebration moves to the lobby, where guests can enjoy photo opportunities with Mr. Jefferson, take part in additional activities, and purchase colonial-era food on-site.
This is a one-of-a-kind living history experience perfect for families, students, history buffs, and anyone eager to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence in a truly memorable way.

HELP US BUILD A MUSEUM, THEATER, AND COLONIAL VILLAGE PLAY AREA
America needs truth to remain free. We stand ready to creatively tell the story of tyranny, faith, and freedom to a generation in search of answers. History, quotes from America's founders, and the principles of freedom come alive through various shows and programs.
Freedom Encounter is currently a 2,000-seat theater, bookstore, and concessions area. Our goal is to build a 15,000 s.f. experiential museum, along with a 10,000 s.f. children's play area. We have just completed the construction of a One-Room Schoolhouse, Colonial Church, and Liberty Surround Sound Theater. These exhibits allow us to offer daily programs to the public, such as the Freedom Journey Experience.
Explore the website, consider the cause, and join this effort to bring the amazing story of freedom to life for this generation of Americans! As a 501(c)3 Nonprofit, we greatly appreciate volunteers and donors.
we are giving-driven!
FREEDOM ENCOUNTER is a 501(c)3 non-profit. All of our progress has been made because of generous donors who believe in the cause of freedom.
